Last night the Tucker City Council unanimously approved a contract with Thomas & Hutton to create construction documents for a half mile of trail along Hugh Howell Road. The plan will fill the gap in the trail between Hugh Howell Marketplace and Smoke Rise Elementary School. It will also extend the trail on Hugh Howell Road from Marthasville Court to Stratmor Drive.
When completed these additions will enable residents of Smoke Rise to walk comfortably to restaurants, churches, places of employment, and other businesses. Connections that can lead to increased health and wellness. Thank you to the City of Tucker for continuing to move the citywide Master Trail Plan forward.
